I know I linked to a Newsweek story about Michelle Obama last week, but
this New Yorker profile is even better. I just like how real a person she is. First ladies during my lifetime have been horribly awful people, from Nancy Reagan's soulless corpse, Barbara Bush's aristocratic vileness, Hillary's cut-throat ambition and Laura Bush's Stepford Wife routine, they're all just bad. I'm as excited for Michelle Obama as I am for her husband.
