For the cause or because

I think sometimes we don't really understand what freedom of speech really is. It's a very powerful tool that should never be given to cartoonists because they can't properly handle it. That's why it's important to censor their comics in the newspaper. Freedom of speech is only applicable when it comes to real speech, made by important high ranking editors. That's why I'm glad this comic got censored in the paper.

What a week

Everyone hates the Collegian, even more than usual, because of the "Fuck Bush" thing. I can see why it's caught on as a news story, but people are going crazy over it for nothing. Fuck Bush, fuck republicans, fuck everybody who's mad over a word when there's real shit to get mad about.

And I'm the one who got a pay cut because of it. If anyone should be mad it's me.

Puppy Power

I feel like I'm finally hitting a groove with this comic. The beginning of the year was admittedly slow and kind of boring. I was focusing too much on the drawing and the story and not enough on coming up with good jokes. As it picks up steam I think it's getting progressively funnier.
